The girls are just so proud to hold and "help" with their baby sister. :) Since Daphne has started smiling, it makes it that much more rewarding to for them to spend time with her. This page has three of my favourite photos of the girls welcoming Daphne to her new home.

Design Notes:
To create the sun, I cut out a circle and tucked it under the photos. I used my paper trimmer to cut strips of paper for the rays, giving them a slight angle on each end. The stitching ties the whole design together. Funny thing is, I'd run a mile to avoid sewing clothes but sewing something like this is actually enjoyable. :)
Sewing Tip:
Use embroidery floss in a similar tone as your paper to highlight shapes. It really gives a nice, subtle finishing touch. For other examples, please refer to these pages:
