February Layout Kit Reveal

Here are the featured layouts for the February Layout Kit at Paws on Scrapbooking. Each kit comes complete with enough product to complete three layouts (plus lots left over) and full, colour photo, step by step instructions. If you are not a member of the club, there are may options available, including one time purchases. You can find all the details HERE.

Kit Supplies: 8 sheets paper (American Crafts, Bo Bunny), 3 sheets cardstock, 1 Crafter's Workshop 12 x 12 template (orchid), 1 alpha sheet (Pink Paislee), Misc. buttons and brads.

Be Mine - Online Class

Here is a peek at my latest online class. We will be taking a package of Jenni Bowlin journaling cards and turning them into a fun little mini book that will have you ahead of the game for Valentine's Day gift giving. The Year of the Lady Bug

I finally got to my lady bug photos from last fall. My daughter's Halloween costume sparked a lady bug theme for her birthday cake.

A couple of my scrapbooking resolutions this year are to create more multi photo pages and to stamp more. So here it is, "The Year of the Lady Bug".

1st Publication Request of 2009

"Grampie's Horses" is going to be in the June issue of Scrapbook Trends!! My husband just pointed out that it will be his first time in a magazine since he is in the photo on this layout. :)

First & Last

Here is my first layout of 2009! It was made using the January kit at Treasured Scrapbooking. This kit if FULL of paper from October Afternoon, Fancy Pants (shown), K&Co, Pink Paislee, and Scenic Route. With all the added embellishments, you've got a kit that will keep your VERY busy creating! Be sure to check out all the other projects created by the Design Team.

This next layout is the last one I did in 2008. It is a project that I did for My Sketch World. I used the right side of a two page sketch and created this layout. I love the pink and green colour combo!

Top 8 of 2008

2008 was a fantastic scrappy year. I took on a new challenge as a kit club designer and in so doing, found a new love of mini books and altered art. I have a number of publications to look forward to this spring and have had countless hours of joy creating. The following projects are among my favourite projects of 2008.
I had the good fortune to be chosen to work on the design team at Treasured Scrapbooking and to continue with a second term in 2009. "Cookie Monster" is one of my favourites.

I discovered a new love of hand stitching on layouts thanks to the talented CindyS.

I love to use beads to add dimension and sparkle to projects of all kinds.

"Watch Out World" just makes me smile!

This is one of my kits from the Paws on Scrapbooking project kit club.

Photography has been an area of huge improvement this year. I took a couple of classes with Kathy Thompson Laffoley and am finally feeling confident with my dSLR.

"Natural Beauty" sits framed on top of my piano.

I love all the stamping, layers and photos in this page. I smile when I look at the joy on Julia's face as she takes her first steps.
