Best Creation Inc.'s Mini Album Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome! If you have just happened upon my blog today, you may want to go to the start of the blog hop to get all of the basic details on how to create the mini album you are about to see.  Be sure to follow along the hop and be inspired with 20 different versions of the album.

I chose a fall theme for my album.  I used paper from two different lines:  Bella and School Day.

"Choosing the Perfect Apple"

Supplies:  Paper (Best Creation Inc.), Felt (Martha Stewart Crafts), Journalign Cards (Jenni Bowlin, Jillibean Soup), Pin & Alphabet Beads (Dollarama), Borders (Doodlebug), Bling (Prima), Twine (Craft Supply Store), Adhesive (Helmar)

We had the good fortune of being sponsored by Helmar this term.  Their Premium Craft Glue works perfectly for adhering the glitter papers together.  The raised elements on the front cover were raised with their ZapDots.  They come in different colours and thickness so you have complete design control.

I love adding dangles to my mini albums and this dangle takes me back to my elementary school days making friendship pins.  I got these inexpensive alphabet beads at the Dollarama and am quite pleased with how this dangle turned out.  I will be putting my safety pins to work with beads again as it's such a fun and inexpensive embellishment.

Album Design Notes:

My design differs slightly from the orginial in that I omitted the pockets and chose to stitch the binding of the album.  I really like how easy it is to stitch some pages together and create a custom album.

The next stop on your blog hopping journey is the talented Petra Offrell.  Check out what she has done to add her own unique twist to the book.

Have fun and I hope you give this simple design a try for your next mini album project.
