My first project kit reveal
I finished my first project kit for Paws on Scrapbooking on the weekend. It is called "# 1 Dad" and is made from the Tinkering Ink Peek-a-Boo album. It is a wonderful mix of acrylic and chipboard and was so much fun to work with. Inside you will find products from Prima, Making Memories, Wild Asparagus, 7 Gypsies, and Kaiser Crafts to name a few. Shadow Box
Prima is holding a Go Green Contest and I decided to jump in with this shadow box I made from the Big Bloom flower packaging. Inside you will find Julia's little hat and wrist band from when she was born.

When it rains, it pours
I have had the most exciting 24 hours.
Yesterday while picking up an order at Paws on Scrapbooking, Janique asked me if I would like to take over the altered kit club. Are you kidding me? I was shocked. Janique has a wonderful group of talented scrapbookers, many of whom I've had the pleasure to meet. I was thrilled, to say the least. This is a totally new role for me, one I'm very excited to undertake. I will be designing and creating the kits (including a set of step by step instructions) for her monthly altered kit subscribers. I'm starting right away with my first kit to come out in June. Stay tuned for some sneak peeks. I'm really excited to show you what I have in mind for this one.
The second bit of news came this morning with an invitation from Leslie at Treasured Scrapbooking to join her Design Team. Well, you talk about excited. I love her kits and I will be designing with some incredibly talented girls. I'm still reeling from all the good news. So if you're wondering where I'll be in my spare time over the next few months, I suspect it will be in my scrap room.
