Let it Snow!

This page is based on the January sketch from the Creative Imaginations blog.  I used a mix of paper from several different Creative Imaginations lines for this one and really love how it turned out.  The shape of the page follows the fancy shape of the die cut paper. These photos were taken before we had a big thaw this week.

Supplies:  Paper & Brads (Creative Imaginations), Letters (Cloud 9), Stamps (my Stamp BOX), Cardstock (Bazzill), Die Cut Borders (GCD Studios), Stickles (Ranger)

Journaling Reads:
The more it snows, the wider the grins.
Bring on the snow!

Luckily for the girls, we had another snow storm on Friday so the grins have returned!!

I'm still here!!!

I have been scrapbooking. I promise you.  I just haven't posted anything on my blog this week because I'm working ahead on design work for myStamp BOX since the BIG day is almost here.  (My C-section has officially been scheduled for February 24th.)  I have also challenged myself to submit for the Memory Makers Idea Book call.  So while I haven't been sharing alot of what I've been making these days, I have still been scrapbooking and hope to be able to share projects soon.

In the meantime, I'll leave you with some eye candy from Scrap Within Reach.  I simply canNOT wait for these goodies to arrive.

I will also be participating in a blog hop with myStamp BOX on February 8th so mark that one in your calendars.

Thanks, as always, for stopping by.

My Baby Belly

Here is the one and only photo we have taken so far this pregnancy.  It was taken a couple of weeks ago and just last night after receiving some new myStamp BOX stamps, I had all the motivation I needed to create this page.

Supplies:  Paper (Lily Bee), Die Cut Paper (Basic Grey), Letters (Rose Moka, American Crafts, Pink Paislee), Acrylic Arrow (Clear Scraps), Stamps (myStamp BOX), Flowers (Prima), Brads (American Crafts)

I have always been a big navy fan and have been sitting on this lace paper for ages.  Since I already know I'm having another girl, I added the row of flower petals to add a little femininity to the page.

I also used my Tombow liquid glue on this one.  It is fantastic for fussy work like the flower petals.  I also use it to make sure my chipboard letters don't fall off.  I always use it right over the adhesive that comes on them.

Here you see another of the new stamps from the Bold Blocks set under an acrylic arrow by Clear Scraps.  I can easily see this set being used over and over on my pages.

Keep an eye on the myStamp BOX store for all the new releases coming very soon.  Thanks for stopping by.

Dolly & Me

Here is my first page of 2010.  I still haven't gotten use to writing that yet!  This is one of my favourite photos taken over the holiday season.

"Dolly & Me"

Supplies:  Paper (Making Memories, Basic Grey, GCD Studios), Letters (Websters, Prima), Shaped border (GCD Studios), Rose, Sequins (Making Memories), Stamp (myStamp BOX), Border Punch (Martha Stewart), Adhesive (Tombow)

To create the circle, I cut strips of patterned paper and distressed the edges. I then folded the paper and sewed sequins onto each fold, close to the fold line.  The whole thing was then pieced together to create the circle you see around the focal photo.

A stamp from Just Add Notes set was used to create the base for a faux clip on the photo.
