2012 Calendar

SRM has the neatest calendar line so I decided to jump right in and complete one for the 2012 year.  This particular calendar is size 8x8.

Supplies:  Calendar & Clear Stickers (SRM Stickers), Paper & Stickers (Echo Park), Felt Flower (Purple Pumpkin Crafts)

I love how this handmade lollipop flower by Purple Pumpkin Crafts takes a regular sun sticker and gives it all kinds of pizazz.

All the stickers you see throughout are by SRM as well - from the numbers and months to all the little phrases, snowflakes and birthday stickers.  There is a sticker for every thought and occasion available for these calendars.

Stay tuned the last week of every month for the latest update in the calendar project.

Have a wonderful Monday!

Party in a Bag

Today my first post went live on the SRM Stickers blog.  We had a birthday in our house this week.  This is an invitation set I made for the occasion.

Be sure you check out all the details over on the SRM blog.  Before you go, I'll leave you with a photo of the birthday girl.  I get the best photo ideas from pinterest.

Have a wonderful day and thank so much for visiting!

Wishing you a day filled with LOVE

Happy Valentine's Day!  The album I have to share today is a "card" I made for my husband.  Valentine's Day ranks up there among my favourite days of the year.

Supplies:  Album (Magistical Memories), Paper & Stickers (Echo Park), Clear Stickers (SRM Stickers), Panda Button (Purple Pumpkin), Spinner (Little Yellow Bicycle), Twine (The Twinery), Button (Jenni Bowlin Studios), Trims (Prima)

This project is also on the Purple Pumpkin blog today.  I used a cute little pink panda button to decorate the spinner even further.  Although this isn't specifically themed for Valentine's Day, the pink and black work perfectly here.

The book also showcases a variety of SRM's clear Valentine's Day themed stickers.  Take a look at this page.

I sprayed the chipboard pages of the book in white.  Each side got two coats.  As I've mentioned in the past, my favourite way to cover chipboard is to spray paint it.

Once dry, I covered the hearts in a series of sentiment stickers, like the ones above, to create the illusion of patterned paper.  I trimmed the excess and adhered some lace around the perimeter.  Quick and easy.  I like that.

Here are a few more random photos from the album/card.

There you have it, my three page album.  I call it a card.  Thanks so much for visiting.  I hope you all have a day filled with love.

There's a Party Brewing

I've got another page from last weekend's crop to share today.  I'm thinking I'm now ready to take a break from Halloween, much to everyone's relief I'm sure.  Next up, Christmas! LOL

Supplies:  Paper , Chipboard (My Mind's Eye), Transparency (Fancy Pants), Bag (Scrap Within Reach), Film Strip Ribbon (Tim Holtz), Button (Purple Pumpkin), Stickers (SRM Stickers), Kraft Tag (Maya Roads)

As always I have used some of my favourite Purple Pumpkin buttons and SRM stickers.  I love the title on this one....so appropriate.

That's all for today.  Thanks so much for visiting.
