Princess for a Day

If you have a little princess in your world, or three like I do, then you are going to love the shape of the album I have to share today.  Clear Scraps is the mastermind behind this adorable Carriage album and they have partnered with Imaginisce this week to showcase how well the two companies' products work together.

One of my girls has a birthday this summer and I have decided to go with a princess theme.  This album was made for that occasion.

"Princess for a Day"

Supplies:  Paper, Die Cuts, Flowers, Glam Rock, Chipboard, i-Rock, i-Bond, d-Stress & i-Top (Imaginisce), Carriage Album (Clear Scraps), Chipboard Frame (Tattered Angels), Charms (Pink Paislee), Rose Flowers & Trim (Prima), Teardrop Gems (Jolee's), Letters (Basic Grey, American Crafts), Rose Trim (Webster's Pages), Transparency (Fancy Pants)

I went all out on this one making the little curtains from fringed trim and adding bits of sparkle everywhere I could.  Don't be fooled by the "made little curtains" comment.  That trim came wide enough that I slit it up the center and voila, a set of curtains.  Not a single stitch went into those.

I used some of the new release Glam Rock Hearts to outline the wheels of the carriage.  Before heat setting Glam Rocks to acrylic, make sure you use the D-Stress tool to rough up the surface a little so the glue has something to grab onto.  Cristal is the mastermind behind this great tip and you can watch a video on it HERE.

The flower centers were made using the i-Top with bits of flower patterned paper from the Enchanted line.

Here is a peek at the interior pages:

I can't wait to add pictures to this one!

Thanks so much for visiting and make sure you check out all the other Clear Scraps goodies on the Imaginisce blog.  As always, there are lots of chances to win.

Have a wonderful weekend.
