I am happy to report that I am home after a whirlwind trip to Los Angeles for the Craft & Hobby Association winter show.  I narrowly missed a big snow storm that closed schools Wednesday and added yet another foot or so of snow to an already blanketed landscape.  Slowly but surely I am getting back into the routine and blogging about my excursion is top on my list.

This show was a little different for me than the last time I went as I spent most of my time facilitating demonstrations and make and takes.  What a treat it was to work with so many enthusiastic crafters and store owners.  A video of one of my Epiphany Crafts demonstrations making Hair Clips actually turned up on You-Tube.  Be kind. I had no warning and zero preparation. 

I think the biggest highlight of the show was finally meeting face to face many of the talented scrapbookers that I have had the pleasure of designing with over the years.

I am completely and totally embarrassed to admit that I don't have a single photo from the show. Not a single one.  No joke.  Nevertheless, I can still update you on a few of my favourite finds, in no particular order:

1.  We Are Memory Keepers - Lucky 8 Punch.  This tool will allow you to create your own 12 inch die cut paper in 8 punches.

2.  Petaloo - Garlands & Trims. These speak for themselves.

3.  Fancy Pants - Artist Edition Chipboard Banners (5x8)

There were so many gorgeous banners throughout the Fancy Pants booth, I had to find out what they were using.

I love every single piece of this collection.

4.  Glue Arts - Extreme Tac Double-Sided Adhesive.  All I can say is, "Where do I get mine?" 

5.  Pink Paislee:  Daily Junque Collection Chalkboard Stickers

Imagine the possibilities for home decor.
