Playing With Die Cut Paper

Here are a couple of pages I made at the crop on Saturday. I should also mention that it was hosted by Scrapbooking Gone Wild and was the BEST crop I have ever attended. My hat is still tipped to the ladies who slaved in the kitchen for so many hours making EVERYTHING from scratch right down to the preserves. It really doesn't get any better than that.

This first page is called "Look at Me" and shows pictures of Julia before and after her second hair cut. It was so cute that she went straight to the mirror when we got home to check herself out.

Supplies: Paper (Pink Paislee, Crate & Jillibean Soup), Gems (Kaiser & Basic Grey), Stamps (myStamp BOX), Buttons (American Crafts...THANKS, Julie), Calendar (Pine Cone Press), Brads (??)

Here is a detail shot of the cute little female symbol from the He Says She Says stamp set.
-------------------------
This next page just makes me happy. As previously mentioned I love scrapbooking with the colour purple. Well, I love scrapbooking with YELLOW even more.
"Freeze"

Supplies: Paper (Basic Grey, Crate & Jillibean Soup), Stamps (myStamp BOX), Flower (Pink Paislee), Stickers (Glitz Designs & Heidi Swapp), Chipboard (Riff Raff), Button (Jenni Bowlin), Gems (Kaiser & Prima), Numbers (American Crafts), Trim (Prima), Brad (??)

Here is a detail shot of the clustering and also the STITCHING. Yes, stitching. Those of you who were at the crop will probably laugh at me since I just couldn't leave it alone. I had to add the stitching when I got home. Want to know a secret?? I'm glad I did!! LOL

EDITED TO ADD:
This page was published in the May, 2010 issue of Scrapbook Trends Magazine.
-----------------------

Stamping Lesson # 2 was posted today at Let's Capture Our Memories. Take a moment and check it out!

---------------------

Don't forget to get your name in the draw for the newest myStamp BOX release, A Tree for All Seasons. Just post a comment on THIS POST. The winner will be announced on the myStamp BOX blog on July 1st. Good Luck!!

---------------------

I'll be back tomorrow with more shaped paper pages.
Have a GREAT Monday!
