This one is made with letter size file folders, the aforementioned school themed line and the Bind it All by Zutter. Thanks to Cheryl for being so kind as to share her jumbo binding rings with me.
I used 8.5 file folders - one half of a folder for the cover (trying to keep bulk down here), two folders for pre-school and the remaining ones for Kindergarten and grades 1 - 5. Any more than that, and it would be too bulky for the size of the coils.
I also added a transparent sleeve for Report Cards.
On the front of each folder, I put a school portrait and the age level. Inside each folder is a place to house class pictures, a pocket for certificates, awards, etc. and information about the year.
The apple is a name card that was used in her classroom last year. There are all kinds of little momentos and souveniers that can be added.
All that's left for me to do each year is add photos and fill in the inside of the folder. I used the same general design for the interior of each of the folders. There is room to add a class photo on the left side if I so choose, which I think I will.
If you would like to use my template, I have attached it here. Use it as you wish to create your own personalized School Days album.
School Years Album Template
I think the signature part is going to among the most treasured parts of this album.
