I cut the entire border out with my exacto knife and glued it to cork after painting and beading the flowers and swirls. Believe it or not, the cut work was the easy part. It was the bead work that really took patience. I used liquid beads that I received from a good friend, Kelly, in a swap we had about a year ago!?! I'm finding all kinds of treasures since I have my scrap space organized.

Journaling reads: When photographing Julia, you have to be quick as you only get once chance.
The photo in the middle has "Take One" written in the bottom corner. Takes two and three are the top two pictures. You can appreciate why I stopped taking photos at that point. All three photos were taken over a span of about one minute when she was a day old.
So there you have it...my first attempt at using paintable paper. How did I do?
